Taking a Break – A gentle pause, not goodbye
As many of you will have seen, I am taking a temporary pause from offering sound baths, sound therapy sessions and wellbeing events.
In a world that often encourages us to keep going, even when our energy is depleted, I believe there is great wisdom in recognising when it is time to rest, recharge and return our attention inward. As wellbeing practitioners, we hold space for others with presence, care and compassion, but to do that authentically, we must also honour our own need for balance and self-care.
This pause is an opportunity for me to replenish my own energy and create the space needed to nurture my wellbeing. I firmly believe that stepping back when needed is not a sign of weakness, but an act of self-respect and a reminder that the quality of the space we hold for others is directly influenced by how well we care for ourselves.
By allowing myself this time, I will return feeling refreshed, grounded and able to once again hold space for others in a meaningful and wholehearted way.
In the meantime, I would like to gently encourage you to continue caring for your own wellbeing. Whether that is prioritising rest and honouring your body’s need for recovery, or connecting with supportive friends, family or community, or just taking regular moments of stillness and quiet throughout your day; remember selfcare is not selfish, it’s essential.
Thank you for your continued support, understanding and patience during this time. I am deeply grateful for this wonderful community and look forward to reconnecting with you soon.
Until then, may you find moments of peace, rest and gentle nourishment wherever you are.
